 Q. What is typically coated with Powder Coat or Cerakote?
Powder coating is popular in all industries from automotive, appliance, furniture, you name the industry and you will find items within that industry that use powder coating in one way or another. Cerakote on the other hand can be applied to most substrates including metals, plastics, polymers, composites and wood.

 Q. How do you prepare parts for Powder Coating or Cerakote?
We will prepare the product(s) by removing oils, cleaning any contaminants from the surface. Items that require an extra level of preparation like sandblasting may incur additional charges. Getting a quote from us will include all charges. 

 Q. What colors and textures are available?
There are virtually hundreds of colors to choose from. We stock some of the popular colors and we can order any colors we do not have in stock. 

 Q. What is Cerakote?
Cerakote is a ceramic based finish that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. The formulation for Cerakote, ceramic coating enhances a number of physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness. 

 Q. Are there products to small or too big?
That has to be determined in the quote process. Usually we can do small and large jobs in our shop and there are some limitations on the length or size of a project fitting in our facility.

 Q. What items can't use Powder Coat or Cerakote.
Any rubber materials.
